Smallest airport I have been to but it has its perks. No waiting to check in or standing in line for security checks. Friendly staff. Unfortunately do not expect to have a a huge choice for bite to eat.

Definitely on the smaller end of an airport, only 2 gates and absolutely no problem navigating around.
Building is neat and got a few quite interesting models on display - some fun machineries and even an AF predator UAV model!
People here are really nice in general,
but bear in mind that the shops and only restaurant do close after working hours which is something like 5pm,
and the vending machines here only accept $1/5 bills or coins, while ATM only gives $20 bills [facepalm] so yeah... definitely prep some change if you intend to wait for someone here during after hours.

Small International Airport. I always fly in around midnight. Luggage is in baggage claim quickly. The staff is friendly. It is not a full-service airport. No barber, lack of shops. But that is not required. Meets my needs.

Easy parking. Fast service. Friendly employees. I like it when flying out of GFK is a cheaper rate than FAR. I've never had a problem using this airport over the past 20+ years.

Tiny airport but it's easy to navigate. They have breakfast for the early morning 5am flight and they also have a quick turn at the TSA gate.

All faucets of medical care come into play when a familys member becomes sick or is critical and life flight is necessary. The life flight teaM along with all the other medical teams collaborated and provided fastest is life care. The communication and public medical service they provides was top notch.

We love flying out of Grand Forks. We drive from Manitoba and always love walking into the airport. Friendly and helpful staff. Not as crazy as the other big city airports. Very clean!

Parking is great. No waiting in lengthy lines for departure or getting luggage at arrival time. This is about the airport; not the airlines. The airline is another story and not good. After 5 hour delay due to snow and high winds the flight was canceled and scheduled for 1 pm following day. 12 hours after cancellation and toddlers and babies sitting in airport from 8pm until 1am before cancelling the flight. Allegiant airways could have done a far better job predicting with all the computers and weather forecasting the flight cancellations. Thank God and someone with a brain at Canadinn sent a bus for stressed out travelers at 1am. Have a good day in Phoenix when you get there.

Small but mighty. GFIA is a comfortable place for traveling. I still get those romantic vibes when picking up my wife after she has been away. Traveling by airplane should always feel like romance and adventure.
