Building is neat and got a few quite interesting models on display - some fun machineries and even an AF predator UAV model!
People here are really nice in general,
but bear in mind that the shops and only restaurant do close after working hours which is something like 5pm,
and the vending machines here only accept $1/5 bills or coins, while ATM only gives $20 bills [facepalm] so yeah... definitely prep some change if you intend to wait for someone here during after hours.

Small airport a good distance from actual town of Grand Forks. Highly recommend to pre-book rental car or make ride arrangements in advance. There are no waiting taxis at the GFK terminal.
The long term parking is great service and very good price. Unfortunately, the parking lot for long term parking is not covered.

All faucets of medical care come into play when a familys member becomes sick or is critical and life flight is necessary. Parking is great. No waiting in lengthy lines for departure or getting luggage at arrival time. This is about the airport; not the airlines. The airline is another story and not good. After 5 hour delay due to snow and high winds the flight was canceled and scheduled for 1 pm following day. 12 hours after cancellation and toddlers and babies sitting in airport from 8pm until 1am before cancelling the flight. Allegiant airways could have done a far better job predicting with all the computers and weather forecasting the flight cancellations. Thank God and someone with a brain at Canadinn sent a bus for stressed out travelers at 1am. Have a good day in Phoenix when you get there.

Grand Forks International Airport is so small and quiet you might wonder if you accidentally walked into a well-organized community center. Security is fast, the staff is genuinely friendly, and you’ll spend more time tying your shoes than waiting in line. Food options are limited, flights are limited, but stress is also very limited. It’s not flashy, but it gets you in and out without drama—basically the airport equivalent of a polite Midwestern handshake.
It's nice to come here in my case, I visit Florida at least once a year, and to have a direct, cheap flight to Florida (Sanford/Orlando) with Allegiant.
Hope one day to see some expansion with more airlines, but overall a fantastic airport, epically regarding its size.

Grand Forks airport is very convenient with easy access to parking, rental cars, and the flight gates. However, it has the strictest security of any airport that I have ever been to. ( That includes North America, South America and Europe)
No kidding - I have never seen such a high volume of bags pulled to be hand checked and people hand screened!😂
