Staff wonderful, no problem they couldn't fix. Hotel is in a charmless commercial neighborhood. The on-site restaurant is very basic, pretty much bar food, but acceptable. For all the truck traffic in the the area, it's very quiet inside - well insulated. Fitness room has very nice equipment, rooms are clean and comfortable, no issues there at all.
We booked this hotel as a "Park & Fly" destination for a week long trip. The room was fine but the park and fly service was terrible. When we checked in, the attendant advised us there was a new policy and we would need to pay $25 to park. There was nothing in the reservation process that indicated this. When we arrived in the lobby on the morning of our departure, there was no driver. The desk attendant had not scheduled us the night before. They called a driver who arrived in about 15 minutes. Fortunately, we had allowed ample time to get to the airport. We flew back into O'hare 7 days later in a cold, driving rain storm, arriving about 7 PM. We called the hotel for a pick up and were informed that the hotel shuttle was not running that day (a Saturday). We were not informed ahead of time this would be the case and there was nothing on the reservation page to this effect, except that shuttle pick service would be available. We called Uber resulting in a $40 fare. We use Park & Fly services frequently, but will not be staying at this hotel again.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, my kids enjoyed the pool both in the afternoon and in the morning, the complimentary breakfast was good. Would stay here again!
The hotel has been recently renovated. Our room was so comfortable and has everything we needed.
It is clean and “dry” (experienced travelers know what I mean). The location is arguably “great” but it isn’t bad at all.
The staff is very friendly and not in a duty-friendly way. They really are OK.
I came for a night off hotelstonight but the very next morning extended as if happened to be quite alright.
