Rooms overall decent, over priced at times! They are placing America Africa people on one section of hotel, refusing to reimburse cash deposits based on bogus explanations such as using Towels to clean hands of seafood seasonings... like it was my daughter not some bloody mess or something that can't be removed!! The Manager literally argued causing a huge disruption he was awful customer service and not at all Professionalin totally Distinguished!!
My favorite hotel in Long Beach. Friendly staff. Clean. Comfy bed.
Beds were fine and clean, normal. We arrived late and the office was closed and empty. Enough knocking eventually roused a clerk. There was no parking near our wing of the building. The coffee was terrible. They have these packets that are made for something different than the coffee maker they have.
My boyfriend and I are doing a road trip with one of our stops being in Long Beach. We got in to the hotel pretty late and had to wait about an hour to get our room key. The hotel is not in a very good part of town, and the parking lot had a Salvation Army tent set up in the middle of it so very limited parking for guests and their vehicles. When we got up to our room it stunk of cigarette smoke, the tv was on, and was very apparent it had not been cleaned very well due to the toilet having stains and all counter tops were sticky and greasy. This was a huge disappointment because we were hoping extra precautions had been taken due to COVID-19. Luckily we had extra sanitizing wipes so we had to wipe the whole room and bathroom down before we touched anything. When we finally were done we pulled the comforter back to get into bed and saw some stains on the sheets. It totally made me not want to even sleep in the bed. We were also able to open the door from the outside without using the key, so overall did not feel very safe or sanitary. We were planning on staying two nights but woke up early the next morning and left as soon as we could to check into a different hotel. We went to The Westin Long Beach instead and it was wonderful and only about $20 per night more! We definitely felt like the quality inn was way overpriced for the quality of stay we received. Will never stay at another quality inn because of this experience.
Staying here threw LAHSA really sicks. Its like being in prison. Prisons give inmates more freedom. Hotel staff are great. One problem under project room key you get no room service (clean of the rooms). Clean sheets once a week, clean towels once a week . The food donated to salvation army for the clients makes everyone sick. You can leave at 7 am but must be back by 7 pm. You must be in your room at 10PM and not come back out until the next morning at7. Your screwed if you smoke
Awesome staff! They cleaned the rooms everyday. The cleaning staff were so nice, and did an awesome job. My Mum and I stayed for a week, and definitely enjoyed our stay. Their breakfast options were great. Location is perfect. Right across from the laundromat, and shops to get whatever you need. I would definitely recommend this location and would be back again! Thank you!
Dont bother wasting your money here. The rooms are cramped and bear. My room only had a bed, a small table, a wired smelling couch and, a small bathroom. There was only one outlet in my room and it was behind the couch. Would have rather stayed in my car. The only thing that is kinda ok is breakfast.
Clean, not cramped, comfortable bed, breakfast included and the people running it were nice.
The location was great. Staffs were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and the bed was cozy.
Don't ask for a blanket, ANGEL will call the POLICE on you!
I stayed at this hotel with my son, he decided to take the sofa since it was single bed room. He called the front desk and requested a spare blanket, they said we don't have it and hung-up the phone. I called them to see if son was joking, they did the same with me, hang-up the phone. I went to the front desk and asked why the attitude? Person named **ANGEL** came out scream from behind the front desk, "we told you we don't have the blanket, so go to your room, leave or we'll call the police". I demanded a reason for such behavior, he said get out of here and quickly checked me out of the computer system. He said "now you are not a guest at this hotel, anymore therefore you are trespassing, get out of here or I will call the police". Before him I called the police, to make the long story short, police came and talked to HIM (Angel) and to me. It was already 2AM, police officer said we could file charges for abuse and spend 2 to 3 hours in the process or get some rest since we had an early morning flight. We took the officers suggestion and got some rest instead. This comment is to make sure people know how abusive that hotel's night staff is. Beware.
Abusive night staff, Harassing - Angel.
