Hyatt House Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

My husband and I stayed here overnight before our cruise. The Hotel shuttle picked us up from the airport, shuttle usually runs about every hour. Location of hotel is great, it's right near an up and coming shopping area. There are some restaurants and stores within walking distance of the hotel. We ate at Lime Mexican restaurant, very good food. There are additional options for shopping and restaurants across the street from the other Hyatt hotel that is right near by our Hyatt House Hotel.



Lobby area is modern and fresh. They have a small restaurant as well that serves drinks and food at an additional cost. Staff was friendly and curtious.



Our room was a studio style which was nice. There are a couple items that could be fixed, stained wallpaper in the bathroom and the desk chair is a little worn. Our room featured a small kitchen and sitting area with TV. Unfortunately, we had some other guests in the hallway that were chatting very loudly while we were trying to sleep.



Shuttle from Fort Lauderdale airport is complimentary. You can sign up for a shuttle for the cruise port at the front desk when you check in. Cost is $12 per person and you can sign up for time slot. The staff at the desk kindly asks you when you check in if you need a shuttle or not.



Breakfast is a buffet style located just off the lobby area. They have: scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, toast, donuts, cereal, omelet bar, oatmeal, lots of options to choose from. They offer apple juice, orange juice, milk, coffee and water.

We love Hyatt House. This time we are in the one bedroom. Nice layout and all the conveniences of home. Microwave, full fridge, dishwaher, plates, glasses, cutlery and even salt and pepper packets. Oh and did I mention the full breakfast bar with cook to order options (omelettes, eggs). Free shuttle to airport, but 10 minutes away so airplanes aren't waking you up. Cruise ship shuttle $12.

Stayed here with some friends and it was my first experience at a Hyatt House. I was quite impressed with the property. The bathroom was spacious and the room was well decorated. The set up felt a little cramped yet large at the same time. It was very nice.

Its convenient to I95, shopping, and Dania Beach. People are nice and the rooms are clean. The bar has good tacos. Sunday morning there was a lot of litter in the landscaping. But I think this tells more about the other guests than the hotel.
