It's not clear where you're supposed to park your car just to get to the check-in. The front door is locked at all times and you have to buzz the intercom. You can feel that this is a high-crime city. It is far from restaurants and parking at the harbor is difficult, so room delivery is pretty much your only option.
I Have stayed here for many yrs. Fall / winter /spring / summer. Great staff all around. Very accommodating . Very accessible to alot of different places. I shall continue to stay here.
Hotel was actually fairly nice and clean, upscale appearance. It was nice having dedicated parking spots adjacent to the building. Unfortunately, my room overlooked the main lobby and the staff were VERY loud for no discernable reason from around 1:00am until around 5:00am when i had to give up on trying to sleep and watch TV, only to find out that the TV was not set up to work, regardless of using the remote or the actual buttons on the back of the TV. Shower also leaked and dripped annoyingly ALL night long.... Staff was mediocre when asking for help but seemed more comfortable sitting behind the counter with headphones on than helping out customers..... Stay was 10/11/19 ~ 10/12/19 in room 1006 (only accessible by stairs, by the way)
I just called them because my girlfriend flew into Baltimore and her accommodations fell through. The man who answered said there was a room available for 160 dollars. I told him great can I pay for it so she'll have a place to stay. He said no, the name on the credit card had to match the guests name. I told him he could take a deposit and my girlfriend was stranded right now and I'm in Colorado. His give a F$#$ was pretty low and he basically told me to go pound sand. Thanks holiday inn!!
No complaints whatsoever. Very close to Johns Hopkins. Clean facility, super friendly staff. There's a convenient shuttle that runs every hour to area locations (like Inner Harbour). Also a great breatfast!
