Nice rooms with friendly service and plenty more F amenities in room to boot (TV, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee Maker, phone, safe etc).
The breakfast selection isn't the widest but as complementary the quality was excellent and there was always plenty to enjoy as all you can eat buffet style.
This was a last minute booking. I am well aware that you get what you pay for... To an extent. So while this was an affordable option close to the airport I would have much rather slept in the airport or the trunk of a car. The staff was friendly but the place and the room smelled like garbage water. The room itself had holes in the wall, the room was barely clean, the shower head didn't work probably because it was from 1978. The pillows were square and seemingly filled with air. The WiFi was non existent, like it was there but it must be some old 2.4ghz router or it had some sort of 56k connection going into it, I don't know but it was terrible.
The best part of this hotel is the shuttle driver to the airport.
But overall spend the extra 30 bucks to stay elsewhere it's well worth it.
The room was perfectly fine, it was clean and had all accommodations one would expect- no complaints for a one night stay before an early morning flight. Very convenient to DTW. The restaurant/bar was a bit disappointing though. Some menu items were not available, and the steak I ended up ordering was overcooked. The baked potato was nearly inedible, I'm guessing it was cooked hours earlier and then microwaved before being served. I was happy with the drinks though.
Horrible experience to say the least. Me and my family checked in to a room with no power and when we rudely given another room it had no heat and so we slept with our coats on that night. We asked if someone could fix it which never happened. After 6 hours passed with maintenance employees told us it would just be 5 to 15 minutes. Overall terrible experience I recommend sleeping in your rental car over any room they have.
Very nice hotel. The rooms were clean and very nice. All the staff I interacted with was very kind and helpful if I needed it. The best part was the breakfast buffet. One of the best I've had in hotels near airports. Eggs, bacon/sausage, cereal, a waffle maker, fruits and juices are just part of it. Plus the WiFi is free with your room and it's strong enough to stream videos. They also have a nice bar and although I didn't use it the pool area looked very welcoming. Will definitely be returning when I'm in this area. Five stars all around.
