Sahlen Field parking
Here to cheer on the Buffalo Bisons? Built in 1988, Sahlen Field in New York is the world’s first retro-classic baseball park. With a seating capacity of 16,600 people, the venue is also the United States’ highest-capacity Triple-A ballpark. With no on-site parking, fans will have to deal with limited parking spaces around the vicinity. Prepare for gameday by learning about nearby parking spaces and garages, updated rates, and transportation options.

Around ten parking facilities are available in Downtown Buffalo, but fans will have to contend with one another for spaces in 5 of the stadium’s closest lots. We recommend booking your parking space in advance using apps like SpotHero to guarantee a spot for gameday. The rates for the five nearby Sahlen Field parking lots are listed below. Rates are subject to change depending on the day or event.

Alternatively, fans may consider the free Park and Ride lots at Lasalle or University stations and then take the train to the stadium. This is an excellent choice for visitors aiming to avoid parking at Downtown Buffalo.
Accessible Spaces
The ballpark parking lot at 64 Exchange St. has limited ADA parking spaces. First-come, first-served basis applies to these reserved spaces
Street Parking Options
We dug a little and discovered several free street parking areas near the stadium. On gamedays, several fans park along Swan St or S Division St past Michigan Avenue. While there are no parking meters here, we recommend parking cautiously as this is a residential area. Follow city parking rules to avoid getting towed or incurring a Buffalo parking ticket.
Ride Public Transport
Downtown Buffalo is served by the NFTA (Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority). Fans may ride bus lines 11, 14, 16, 24, and 8 to several bus stations just a five-minute walk to the stadium. Alternatively, visitors may ride the Metro Rail to Church St Station, a five-minute walk from the venue. Visit the NFTA website for stops, schedules, and fares.
