Flocked to by more than a thousand people every day, Niagara Falls in New York is more than just its towering geological wonder – it is home to miles of hiking trails, interactive exhibits, and plenty of attractions for casino and amusement park lovers. Convenient Parking at Niagara Falls State Park

Parking options at Niagara Falls

The Niagara Falls State Park offers four convenient parking lots at different access points. Credit cards are the only accepted mode of payment for these lots.

Parking Lot 1 Automobile only $10 Monday-Thursday $15 Friday-Sunday Located at Prospect Point. Convenient to Maid of the Mist and Visitor Center. Open daily, all year. 
Parking Lot 2 Automobile only $10 Monday-Thursday

$15 Friday-Sunday

Located on Goat Island and convenient to Top of the Falls Restaurant and Cave of the Winds. Open daily, all year. 
Parking Lot 3 Automobile, RV, and Bus parking Cars: $10

RV’s: $20

Buses: $35

Located at the east end of Goat Island and convenient to Three Sisters Islands. Open seasonally. 
Parking Lot 4 Automobile only No fees at this time.  Located at Niagara Gorge and convenient to Schoellkopf Site and Aquarium of Niagara. Open seasonally.

Lot operational hours vary weekly. Check the Niagara Falls State Park website to view the day’s opening and closing times. Note that the spaces above tend to fill up quickly on Fridays, weekends, and holidays. If lots are full, consider the alternative parking options below.

City-Owned Ramps & Lots

City Lot at Niagara Falls

We did a little digging and discovered a few city lots and ramps located near the Falls. The fee for these lots range from $10 – $30, with summer rates more expensive than winter rates:

  • 365 Rainbow Blvd
  • 250 3rd St
  • 105 Rainbow Blvd

Payments for these lots may be made through cash, credit card, or through the Flowbird app.

Use Public Transporation

NFTA – Metro Bus lines 40 and 50 drop by bus stations less than a 5-minute walk to the falls. See stops, schedules, and fares at the NFTA website.

The Falls is connected to East Coast destinations, including New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC, via Amtrak.
