All About Park City Mountain Parking

Wondering where to park in Park City? The answer depends on whether you want to be near the ski resort base or the Main Street shops and restaurants. The day of your visit or the duration of your stay is also essential.

Here are the options at the Park City Mountain Village:

  • Main Parking Lot
  • First Time Parking Lot
  • Silver King Parking Lot
  • Preferred Parking
  • Underground Preferred Parking Garage

The listed surface parking lots offer free parking services; to reach them, reach out to any parking attendant, and they’ll provide directions. They’ll assist you in getting to the parking garage as well. Note that these areas fill up quickly, so we suggest getting there by 8 AM. All the facilities open at 7:30 AM.

Park City Parking Cost

In addition to three surface parking areas accessible at no charge, a couple of paid parking services offer convenient and covered parking spots. Preferred parking is available under the Lodge at Mountain Village for $25 per vehicle or $30 on peak days and holidays. Carpool vehicles accommodating at least three adults get a discounted parking rate of $12 to $15.

The resort allows frequent visitors to get seasonal parking passes in advance. These passes will grant you access to the underground parking facility, but note that they don’t guarantee a spot. Preferred parking pass prices vary; call 435-649-8111 for more info.

Accessible Parking

As the Park City parking map shows, ADA parking spaces are obtainable next to the preferred lot. Guests can enter the area through Lowell Avenue. Each visitor has to display a valid disabled parking permit or license plate.

How Much Is Parking at the Park City Main Street District?

Main Street accommodates plenty of shops, restaurants, boutiques, hotels, and the Town Lift. If you’re searching for a convenient parking area nearby, note that paid parking is available at multiple locations. Here are the winter season parking rates on Main Street, which has a three-hour limit:

  • $2 per hour from 11 AM to 5 PM
  • $4 per hour from 5 PM to 12 AM

Other popular options include the China Bridge Garage, Swede Alley Garage, and Flag Pole Lot, which offer complimentary parking from 12 AM to 5 PM. While the China Bridge Garage doesn’t have a time limit, the other two allow parking for up to four hours. Click on Park City Parking Services to see the full list of options and rates.

Is Parking at Canyons a Better Option?

If you plan to arrive after 8 AM and want to lower your costs, the Canyons Village is your go-to choice. Park City is linked to this ski resort, which provides plenty of budget-friendly parking spots.

  • The Upper Village Lot offers daily parking for $12 on weekdays and $15 on weekends and holidays. There’s also a carpool rate of only $5 per day for three or more adults.
  • Cabriolet Parking Lot allows visitors to park free of charge.

Since parking at Park City tends to fill up quickly, the Canyons side is your best alternative—leave your vehicle in a safe spot and take a lift to the mountain base. The Canyons parking lots open at 7:30 AM. Note that overnight parking is forbidden during the winter season.
