Formerly named and still often called Bell MTS Place, Canada Life Centre is a sports and entertainment arena in Winnipeg. It’s located in the downtown area, at 223 Carlton St #600, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0V4. The venue is home to the NHL Winnipeg Jets team and the Manitoba Moose, their AHL affiliate. Canada Life Centre Parking in a Nutshell

Thousands of convenient parking stalls are available in the parking garages and lots placed within a short walk of the arena. It’s recommended to park in the facilities that are connected to the walkway system and allow easy access to Canada Life Centre. >>Reserve on Vivid Seats. Here are the closest options:

Most of them provide climate-controlled parking spots available for both Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose games, as well as concerts. The True North Square garage also offers EV charging stations. Event parking fees vary from $5 to $20, and most of the above-listed facilities have an approximately $15 rate for Jets home games. Reservations are optional, but we always suggest that you reserve parking ahead of time—it will save both your time and money! If you have any inquiries, feel free to ask one of the parking attendants. Once you reach the entrance of any facility, the staff will provide all the instructions.

Accessible Parking

ADA parking spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis by the car parking facilities around the arena. Winnipeg Jets parking passes usually aren’t mandatory, but you need to display a disabled parking placard or permit. The posted event rates apply to handicapped parking, too. Canada Life Centre guests can use one of the several drop-off zones. They are placed at the Donald Street west-side curb lanes, east-side curb lane, and south of Graham Avenue, as well as on eastbound and westbound Portage Avenue. The drop-off spots are also near the Metropolitan Entertainment Centre, Radisson, and Newport Center, as well as Smith Street and Hargrave Street.

Downtown Winnipeg offers ample parking, and—in addition to multiple off-street parking lots and parkades—there are thousands of on-street spots. The garages and lots are a great option for game-day parking, and prices vary depending on the location. Rates during events can go up to $20, but they are lower in most locations. If you come across an available on-street spot, be sure to peruse the signs to avoid pricey parking tickets! The hourly parking fee is $1.75 to $2.75. After 5:30 PM and on Sundays, parking is free. Public Transportation to Downtown Winnipeg

If you’re a Winnipeg resident or live in the area, make use of the extensive public bus network—it will save you from the parking hassle and lower your expenses. Thanks to its convenient location, the former Bell MTS Place is serviced by more than 50 routes! Several bus stops are available within easy walking distance, and you may use the Winnipeg Transit website to plan your trip. A regular bus fare is $3.05, and the price for a day e-pass is $10.

Tailgating Information + Nearby Bars

Winnipeg Jets supporters cannot participate in tailgating activities on-site, but there are other ways to have a proper game-day experience. You and your fellow ice hockey fans can head to a nearby bar or restaurant to grab a drink before or after the game.
