Originally known as Florida Field and informally known as The Swamp, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is a college football stadium in Gainesville. It’s located within the University of Florida campus and serves as home to the Florida Gators. As the largest stadium in Florida, it can accommodate over 90,000 visitors. The address is 157 Gale Lemerand Dr, Gainesville, FL 32611. It’s easily accessible by road, but finding public parking can be quite stressful, and that’s where Parking Access steps in! Our in-depth guide will provide all the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium parking information, including official lots, event rates, and budget-friendly alternatives.
All About Ben Hill Griffin Stadium Parking
Most event parking structures within the UF campus are dedicated to booster club members and are marked in orange on the map below. A limited number of car parking lots are offered to the general public and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each public parking area tends to fill up quickly. These lots are marked in pink on the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium parking map, but you can also check out the full campus map on the Florida Gators website. Note that visitors cannot park on the grass or sidewalks. General parking rates vary based on the event.
Note: Starting two and a half hours before any Gators game, vehicular traffic will be stopped on Lemerand Drive until the end of the game. This street is between University Avenue and Stadium Road.
Disabled Person Parking
The University Athletic Association offers reserved ADA parking spaces near the O’Connell Center, Infirmary Lot, and Murphree Hall area. If you don’t have a reserved parking pass, head to Lot 109 on Gale Lemerand Drive. After you park the vehicle, use the free wheelchair-accessible shuttle service to the Graham Hall parking lot. Free Gator Lift shuttles start operating three hours before the scheduled game time. If you happen to come across another vacant accessible parking spot on campus, besides the reserved areas, feel free to use it.
RV Parking
Certain booster club members are entitled to reserved parking spots in the UAA RV lots. If you aren’t a member, reach out to UF Transportation and Parking Services for further assistance at 352-392-8048. Overnight parking is allowed in the Gators RV City at Florida Park, while other UAA reserved RV parking areas offer daily parking only.
