Formerly known as The Forum and colloquially as the LA Forum, Kia Forum is placed on Manchester Boulevard in Inglewood. Being located only 3 miles from LAX, it’s easily accessible for both Los Angeles residents and visitors. The former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and Kings hosts an array of events, including sports games and concerts. It offers plenty of car parking spots, and this guide will take you through the entire event parking process. You’ll discover The Forum parking prices, off-site parking availability, and tailgating information. We also cover transportation alternatives and offer a few hot tips on saving money!
The Forum Parking Options
The Forum visitors can access the property either from Prairie Avenue or Kareem Court—you can see the gates on The Forum parking map below. Ample parking is available around the venue, and guests usually find a convenient spot without any hassle. You can choose between general parking and preferred parking, which is closer to the arena’s entrances. Purchasing The Forum parking pass is simple—use the official website or Ticketmaster. Overnight parking is prohibited.
Accessible Parking
Handicapped parking, as well as parking spaces for oversized vehicles, is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For this reason, be sure to arrive early on the day of any major event. Each guest that occupies an ADA parking stall has to own and display a valid disabled parking permit or placard. Standard parking rates apply.
How Much Is Parking at The Forum?
The Forum parking price depends on the parking service:
The Forum Parking Pass | Price |
General | $25 |
Preferred | $40 |
You can buy any pass online or upon entry, but we suggest purchasing in advance, especially for big events. If you come across a full lot or wish to lower your costs, check out the alternatives below.
Parking Near The Forum, Inglewood
The only option nearby cheaper than The Forum is the Hollywood Park parking lot, which is placed on the corner of Pincay Drive and Kareem Court. It’s within short walking distance, and the short-term parking cost is $20. The parking area accepts both cash and credit cards. Another nearby lot is at 659 Aerick Street and has the same rate as The Forum parking—$25 per day. It’s located near the NW corner of Prairie Avenue and Aerick Street, a 10-minute walk away from the venue. Alternatively, you may look into SoFi Stadium, which is also very close, but it’s usually significantly more expensive.
Tailgating at The Forum
The Forum doesn’t allow tailgating of any kind, including tailgating equipment, drinking games, and saving spots for other guests. Hanging out in the main parking lot during the event is also prohibited. If you wish to have fun with your friends before or after the event, we suggest hitting the nearby bars. The best options in the area are Lavender Blue Sports Lounge, Sizzler, and Woody’s Bar-B-Que.
Transportation to the Arena
Using public transit and ride-sharing is encouraged and can lower your costs significantly. Hop on any LA Metro Bus that stops at either Prairie/Kelso or Prairie/Manchester bus stop—the fare is only $1.75. Both stops are 3 to 4 minutes away from the venue and allow quick access. You can also arrange a ride through Uber and Lyft, which pick up visitors within the H parking area near the west entrance. Drop-offs are allowed at all entrances. If you need a budget-friendly airport transfer, learn more about shuttles to LAX or arrange a Lyft at LAX. The ride to or from the airport takes around 15 minutes.
