Tailgating at the Caesars Superdome

Tailgating in New Orleans is so exciting that we encourage all the football fans to arrive early and have some pre-game fun! Champions Square is outside the Superdome and offers plenty of food and drinking options. You could also head to any parking lot along Loyola Avenue, South Rampart Street, or other streets in the vicinity. We suggest surface parking structures since some garages don’t allow grilling or tailgating altogether. If you don’t want to tailgate but plan on having a couple of drinks, hit one of the nearby bars, such as Dave & Buster’s.

Public Transportation to the Stadium

To avoid pricey parking or the often frustrating search for a convenient space, hop on an RTA bus to the Caesars Superdome. A public transit stop is on Poydras Street, right across from Gate A, so it’s easily accessible. The one-day pass is only $3. Use the GoMobile app to plan your trip, purchase tickets, or track any bus! If you’re coming with a couple of friends, request Uber or Lyft to get to the venue smoothly and affordably.
