The Bishop Museum, also called the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum, sits in the historic Kalihi district of Honolulu. The Bishop Museum Tickets and Hours
The Bishop Museum is open every day from 9 AM to 5 PM, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
To manage the flow of guests, The Bishop Museum offers Timed General Admissions, which are available for booking every hour from 9 AM to 4 PM. After selecting a one-hour time window, guests should check in any time during that hour. Visitors who are more than 15 minutes late will be relegated to entry on a space-available basis. Once checked in, guests can stay in the museum until 5 PM.

Convenient Parking at the Bishop Museum
Paid on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in two-surface lots. The Bishop museum parking fee in both visitor parking areas is $5, with an evening rate of $3 after 5 PM. Members with valid parking stickers enjoy free parking.
Payment kiosks are located right in front of the museum entrance and in the upper parking lot. Only credit cards are accepted at payment kiosks, but parking fees may be settled in cash at Shop Pacifica from 9 AM to 5 PM.

ADA Parking & Accessibility
Accessible parking spaces are obtainable in the main visitor parking area and the Paki Lot. Cars displaying a disability parking placard can park free of charge.
The Bishop Museum is wheelchair-accessible and offers a limited number of manual wheelchairs for free on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests may borrow a wheelchair at Shop Pacifica’s Admissions Desk.

Street Parking Near the Bishop Museum
A lot of on-street spots are available on the streets around the Bishop Museum, although these fill out quickly by residents. If you come across a vacant parking space, read the signs carefully to make sure you don’t get a ticket. Take Public Transit to the Museum
The easiest way to get to Bishop Museum is by utilizing TheBus, O’ahu island’s public bus transportation service. Bus line 2 drops by the School St. & Kapalama St. bus station, just five minutes away from the museum. In addition, bus line 61 drops by School St. & Likelike Hwy bus station, just a seven-minute walk from the museum. A one-way bus ticket costs $2.75.
