Zion National Park Parking
Although Zion National Park is the busiest from March through November, it’s suitable for year-round visits and attracts many people. The Park is open 24/7, and each visitor must purchase a $20 weekly pass. Children younger than 16, military veterans, and Gold Star families enjoy free access.
All About Parking at Zion National Park
Multiple designated parking areas are available within the Park. However, due to the number of visitors, these usually fill by 8–9 AM. For this reason, you should either arrive early or park in Springdale. Read through the nitty-gritty of all parking options and fees.
- Every private vehicle entering the Park is charged $35 per week (the $20 entrance fee plus $15 for parking). All parking lots are clearly marked and placed along the main road.
- The total cost for motorcycles is $30, and the pass is valid for seven days.
- Reserve Zion National Park RV parking at South Campground at 877-444-6777. Zion River Resort also allows RVs for as low as $256/week.
- Free parking spots are offered to the customers of some shops and restaurants.
- On-street parking stalls are available at several locations. For payments and more info, look for a pay station like the one below.
Note: Be sure to park within the designated stall to avoid pricey citations.
Park in Springdale & Take a Zion Shuttle
Springdale parking for Zion visitors is obtainable at multiple locations. On-street spots for oversized vehicles are in Zone C and cost $2/hour or $24/day, while standard parking fees are below.

December through March, these rates are 50% lower.
Off-street parking is available from 6 AM to 5 PM at Bit and Spur Lot for $5/hour or $15/day. A Zion Canyon shuttle stop will be nearby wherever you park, and shuttles run every few minutes. Click here to see the map.
Reach the Park Without a Car
Your best bet is to fly into McCarran Airport and arrange a Las Vegas Airport shuttle or rental car. Those staying at a hotel may request a hotel shuttle. Alternatively, book a shuttle to St. George and then to Springdale. When you get there, take the shuttle to the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. This option takes more time, but it’s cheaper than private transfers.
