White River State Park Parking

This 267-acre park located in downtown Indianapolis offers a mixture of green spaces and an urban environment. Its attractions include Indiana State Museum, Eiteljorg Museum, IMAX Theater, Victory Field, and Central Canal. Our guide will help drivers find a car parking space in the main garage, surface lot, or other off-street areas near White River State Park. We’ll also provide information about oversized vehicle parking availability, permits, and on-street restrictions. To save time and avoid high prices on a concert day, learn how to use the public transportation system in the city.

Parking at White River State Park

The park offers two on-site options: a surface parking lot at 801 W. Washington St. and an underground garage at 650 W. Washington St. Both are open 24/7. Event rates vary, and standard parking fees are listed below.

The outdoor lot has two pay stations; you can use cash or your credit/debit card to pay. Enter your license plate number, make the payment, and place the parking voucher on the dashboard. Here are the short-term fees in the surface lot.

Note: The rates are extracted from the park’s official website, but according to DowntownIndy, the hourly fee is $5. We reached out to the White River State Park parking management to clear this up but haven’t received any response.
