Vanderbilt Stadium is the first such venue in the South built solely for college football. It’s placed in Midtown Nashville, on Jess Neely Drive. Vanderbilt University’s Commodores team is its main tenant. If you’re planning a visit to the stadium, learning about the city parking services beforehand is a must if you want to avoid the hassle. And that’s why we’re here—ParkingAccess will provide up-to-date information about all on-site lots, event parking fees, and Vanderbilt Stadium parking alternatives in the vicinity! Make use of our guide and handy tips to have a stress-free game day.
Vanderbilt Stadium Parking Options
Many car parking spots are obtainable in the Vanderbilt Stadium lots within the complex. They offer season tickets, reserved spots, and single-game parking through the Commodores website. Visitors can also purchase parking when entering a parking area, but that’s based on availability, so advanced bookings are recommended. Rates differ according to the event. Here are the closest options:
- Reserved Parking: Lot 1
- General Parking: Lot 2, Lot 3, Lot 4
- ADA General: Lot 71
- Suite Holders: Lot 72B
If you’re interested in getting a season parking pass, reach out to the Vanderbilt Ticket Office. Look into the Vanderbilt Football Stadium parking map below to see all the locations and plan your trip. Additional public parking services are provided by West and 25th Avenue parking garages. The on-street parking rate within the university campus is $3 per hour.
Note that the Vanderbilt University campus has no RV parking areas. If you need a lot suitable for oversized vehicles, the Tennessee State Fairgrounds is your best bet. There’s a restricted number of RV spots, and you can learn more by calling (615) 862-8980.
Accessible Parking
ADA parking spaces are offered in Lot 71 and both the 25th Avenue and West Garage parking structures. We suggest that you purchase a Vanderbilt Stadium parking pass in advance and urge you to display a disabled parking permit or placard. Prevailing parking rates apply. Limited ADA spots are available in several other lots, so feel free to look for parking near Vanderbilt Stadium.

Tailgating at Vanderbilt Stadium
The Vanderbilt Commodores supporters can enjoy tailgating activities at several Natchez Trace parking locations. Visitor parking areas open at either 7 AM or 8 AM, while Vandyville opens four hours before the scheduled football game time. Be sure to maintain a safe and fan-friendly atmosphere within the athletic complex by following the rules and regulations:
- Visitors can use more than one standard parking space, but they need a pass for each spot.
- Obstructing driveways and roadways is prohibited, as well as blocking other vehicles and spots.
- Fire pits, kegs, and trailers are forbidden.
- All charcoal from the grills, as well as other trash, must be disposed of appropriately.
