Accessible Parking

All car parking structures managed by Olympia Development offer ADA parking spots for patrons with suitable state-issued permits or placards. On game days, there are also special disabled parking areas in the D Garage and 61 E. Elizabeth. These stalls are obtainable on a first-come, first-served basis, so we highly recommend early arrivals. Guests driving oversized vehicles should use the Fisher Service Drive spots.

Additional Detroit Tigers Parking

If you wish to reduce your expenses, get to the downtown area a couple of hours earlier and find an on-street parking space. It will be farther than the official lots, but you will significantly cut your costs and find a spot for as low as $5 or even free parking.

You can also park at the MGM parking garage, placed about half a mile from the ballpark, which is available free of charge. Another convenient spot is two blocks behind Fox Theater, which are close to the venue and the freeway.

Tailgating at Comerica Park

Unfortunately, tailgating is strictly prohibited in all car parks at Comerica Park. However, this doesn’t have to affect your day; great downtown bars and restaurants let you celebrate with fellow Tigers fans. If you’re not familiar with the area or not sure which place is the most suitable for this occasion, check out the best bars near the stadium.

Public Transportation Options

Public transit is the best way to avoid the time-consuming search for a secure parking space and paying daily parking fees.

The Grand Circus Park station is a 3-minute walk away from the park, and public transportation is available via the Detroit People Mover trains. Guests can also use the QLine at the Montcalm Street station, which is a 5-minute walk away, while the public bus service is provided by SMART and DDOT
