South Carolina State Fair

Driving & Parking Information for the South Carolina State Fair

The South Carolina State Fair starts on October 12 – 23, 2022. Parking spots can be found at Lexington Medical Center Fair Park on the fairgrounds. The rate for parking is $5 per vehicle. The fair provides handicap parking as well.

Buses are available for the shuttle service to and from the South Carolina State Fair. Learn more about the shuttle service, the fair hours, and parking.

Directions:

I-26 East from Greenville / Spartanburg:

  1. Follow I-26 to I-126 to Columbia.
  2. Where I-126 ends, take the Elmwood Exit.
  3. Go to the second traffic light. Turn right at the McDonald’s onto Assembly Street.
  4. Travel approximately two (2) miles; look for the Fairgrounds marquee on the right.

I-26 West from Charleston:

  1. From I-26 take I-77 North.
  2. Travel to Exit #5, Bluff Road.
  3. Take the Bluff Road exit and turn left onto Bluff Road.
  4. Travel approximately three (3) miles to the traffic light by Williams Brice Stadium; the Fairgrounds will be on the right past the light.

I-77 South from Charlotte:

  1. From I-77 take Exit #6, Shop Road.
  2. Follow Shop Road for approximately three (3) miles and you will be facing the Fairgrounds.

I-20 West from Florence:

  1. From I-20 take I-77
  2. South to Exit #6, Shop Road.
  3. Follow Shop Road for approximately three (3) miles, and you will be facing the Fairgrounds.

US-76 West / US-378 West from Sumter

  1. Take US-76 West/US-378 West to Columbia.
  2. Continue on Garners Ferry Road to N. Beltline Blvd.
  3. Turn left on N. Beltline Blvd to Rosewood Drive.
  4. Bear right on Rosewood Drive to Assembly Street/George Rogers Blvd.
  5. Turn left on George Rogers Blvd. at the Fairgrounds.

I-20 East from Atlanta:

  1. From I-20 take Exit 64-A.
  2. Stay in the far left lane until it becomes Elmwood Avenue.
  3. Go to the second traffic light.
  4. Turn right at the McDonald’s onto Assembly Street.
