Driving & Parking Information for the Franklin County Agricultural Fair
The Franklin County Agricultural Fair takes place from September 14 – 17, 2022. The fair offers parking near the fairgrounds. For more information please visit the official website.
Area with General Parking & Shuttle
Visitors should park in the open space across from the Franklin County Recreation Park’s main gate. To help manage parking traffic, kindly follow the parking attendants’ instructions as they will lead you to a vacant parking space. TNT Auto Body Repair’s Cool Bus will offer a shuttle service for the four-day event from the public parking lot to the fairgrounds.
Disability Parking
Parking spaces close to the park’s entrance are dedicated to visitors with disability permits. A golf cart service runs to and from the fair’s entry gate. Please ask a member of the fair staff for help.
Directions
From Roanoke/Highway 220 South:
Drive south on Highway 220 from Roanoke. After passing the third Rocky Mount exit, turn left at the intersection onto Sontag Road.
From Martinsville/Highway 220 North:
Drive north on Highway 220 from Martinsville. After passing Meade Tractor, turn right at the intersection onto Sontag Road.
