Cape Canaveral Cruise Port Parking and hotels

Port Canaveral: Complete Guide to Local Hotels and Parking at the Port (2019 Travel Season)

In this post, we’re going to get super detailed about specifically what hotels you should stay at or where to park your car when cruising out of Port Canaveral.

For instance, one of our readers wrote to us and said that they saved about $100 by parking at one of the hotel lots we mentioned in this post instead of the terminal’s parking lots.

The reason we’re writing this post is that we haven’t seen a complete guide of all the options for accommodations and parking at Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal in one unified post.

And in this post, we’re going to give you a full overview of what we’ve found in our research.

Let’s dive in.

We’ve broken up this post into 3 categories: Port Canaveral Cruise Parking, Hotels with Parking and Free Shuttle service

  • Starting at $17 per day, you pay for convenience when you leave your car at the lot or garage in the terminal.
  • Your walk is short, yes, but you still have to lug bags to the check-in point, so depending on what space you grab, could make a world of difference.
  • That’s why we recommend checking out a few of the options below.
  • You pay by credit card when you exit. Does offer disabled parking.

Off-Site Parking

Park Port Canveral

One of the more popular parking lots that offer free shuttles to the cruise terminals is Park Port Canaveral. (only 3 miles or a 5-minute ride)  At $10.95 per day plus taxes and fees, when reserving and paying online, this option offers quality and convenience and luggage assistance.

Park N Cruise

Also roughly about 3 miles and a 5-minute shuttle ride, Park-N-Cruise is the same price as Park Port Canaveral $10.95 per day plus taxes and fees when booked online.

528 Port Cruise Parking

The farther away you park the cheaper the cost,  naturally.  And 528 Port Cruise Parking is about 10 miles from the cruise port and only going to cost you about $8 per day with a free shuttle included.

Cruise time Parking & Shuttle

Cruise time Parking offers a free shuttle and is located about 8.5 miles from your ship.  The rates are as follows – $64 for a 7-day cruise and $48 for a 5-day cruise.

Lots of Honor

Offering veterans and first responders with a discounted rate of $8.95 compared to its regular rates of $10.95 per day plus taxes and fees plus a $5 port entry fee. They do offer a free shuttle and the lot is roughly 3.5 miles from the cruise port.

GO Port Canaveral Package

Leave your car for free, avoid toll fees, and pay for shuttle services to and from the terminal.  Starting at $9.95 per person each way, they’re only 5 and a half miles from the cruise port.  So depending on how many people are in your party, let’s say a family of 4 the shuttle would be $79.60 whereas a couple would cost $39.80.  Be sure to book in advance, the lot is small and fills up fast.

Local Hotels that offer Parking aka Park & Cruise Hotels

Maybe of these hotels are in the Cocoa Beach area, others much closer to the cruise terminal.  Some of these hotels offer a Fly, Snooze & Cruise package which offers complimentary transportation to and from Orlando MCO International and a shuttle to the cruise port.

In Conclusion

Port Canaveral has several options for travelers.  For those flying into Orlando International, we’ve listed the Fly, Snooze and Cruise hotels that allow you to arrive a day early of your cruise, get a nights rest and be provided free transportation to and from the Airport and the Cruise.  It’s a great service, we highly recommend it.

If you live within driving distance, you have several options.  You can simply leave your car at one of the off-site parking facility or park on-site, as we have discussed in detail above.  Or if you want to come in a few days early, spend a few days at the beach, you can leave your car at one of the Park and Cruise hotels that offer free parking, sometimes free shuttle to and from the cruise.  And lastly, if you simply want a hotel room for one night and a shuttle to the terminal, we’ve listed out those options and the shuttle cost.  We hope this helps with your decision making the process.  And again, parkingaccess.com offers you a quick and simple way to book your cruise parking so check out our search results and see what works for you.  Happy cruising.
