It was not clear that the deposit was not applied to the bill. This was really a service charge to use your company. Lesson learned will deal directly with parking company.
Reasonable rates, and they’ll get you to the airport quickly, but don’t hold your breath on your return. You’ll sit at the airport until they feel like sending someone to pick you up, whether that’s 20 minutes or 45. Still, you get what you pay for, and their rates are reasonable and competitive, and the facility is very nice.

I prefer valet connection over all other parking services in the area. Past few times we traveled, the shuttle has been on time.
They have an indoor waiting area, which is nice in winter months.
They have a few pot holes in their parking lot. so be careful when you enter and exit their lot.

Everything was simple. I arrived, the staff was courteous when they verified my reservation, took my keys and off to the airport. Great value and service! My car is always warm and free from elements when I return to pick it up. Well lit and secure. Not scary a d sketchy like the outside lots. Only negative is the smoke smell in the offices. Excellent rewards program. Drivers are prompt and even wait on you when you text with bags in hand so you don’t have to wait for the next van!

Great experience overall! Shuttle was quick and easy! Dropped off car for 8 days and it was ready for pickup when we got there! The guys running the shuttle are super friendly! We left a bag there and they are keeping it for us until we can pick it up in a week! We were so afraid it was lost! Overall highly recommend and it’s a great value for parking for the money!

Was hesitant based on some nightmarish reviews. I experienced friendly and professional staff from drop off to pick up. Shuttle ran as advertised. Registration was breeze. Pick up was a breezed. Really loved the automated text message that came after drop off and allowed me to click on the link when I was ready to be picked up upon my return. Seems like a really smooth operation. They even accommodated my need for some air in my tires. Will definitely return!

First time using this place. I thought what a great idea. Drop off car while on vacation to get. A complete detail job. They surpassed my expectations!! I have a 2016 BMW X5 and the entire car feels new. I’m a stickler for details so I spent 7 minutes going over the entire vehicle and I’m truly very happy with the job both interior and exterior and will definitely do this on a regular basis.

I use Valet Connections often and I love their service. They drive you to the airport as though they were trying to catch a flight themselves. They load everyone into the shuttle quickly and get you there quickly, but safely, of course! I personally make my reservations online and find it very convenient. Even during their busiest time of the day, I haven't had to wait more than 15 minutes ever. I recommend Valet Connections and don't see myself trying any other airport transportation in the future. Have some extra cash on you for a tip because these guys deserve it.

Good location, easy to use. Drivers are very helpful and friendly. The wait going to the airport was a little long, but it was very busy. Still arrived in plenty of time to check in. The pick up on the way home was fast and efficient. I clicked the link they send you, made my way to the pickup area and within 10 mins they were there to pick us up. Price is great, would definitely use this service again.

I have been taking bus shuttles to DTW because I did not look into long term parking near the airport. I arrived faster to DTW by driving and the parking through Valet Connections was cheaper than a round trip by bus. I called the staff a couple times and they were helpful with my questions. Instructions were clear for requesting a shuttle to return to my car.

I see many negative reviews for this company but my experience was great. I made my reservation less than 24 hrs in advance (last min trip). Most other places required 24hr notice. Only waited about 10 min for shuttle to airport and 15 min (flight delayed) for shuttle back to my car. Both drivers were very nice and the ladies at the counter were very nice as well, process was seamless and quick. No issues with my car either. Im sure it didn’t stay in covered garage the whole time I was gone but its not a huge area. Very good experience with this company.

Very easy to book online! The location is convenient, indoors, and an easy find. I pulled in, went to the front desk, they took the keys and gave me a ticket number... that's it! The shuttle was ready and waiting and I was at my gate within 15 minutes.
The pick up was even easier!! Since I booked online they knew when to expect me and my car was already waiting for me.
I will be using service for all of my trips. Excellent interaction.

They have shuttles to/from the airport every few minutes. Drivers are rly nice and kind. I think all staff was rly kind tho.
They have a couple pf vending machines drinks and snacks, and a few couches inside in the check in/out area.
We paid $44 for 4 days.

My mom and I used this service for the first time at the recommendation of my uncle, who flies frequently.
Overall the experience was pleasant. Easy place to find, and the shuttle drivers were very knowledgeable about where to go in the maze of terminal drop offs and were punctual for both pick up and drop off.
My only complaints are that as a first time user of this service, the instructions on WHERE you park upon arriving on the emailed receipt and the signage on the building when you first arrive are unclear. Secondly, the front desk staff could use a lesson or 2 on hospitality. As a first time user we obviously had some clarity questions on how this service worked and they acted like we were an annoyance asking these questions. Training your staff to be a little more understanding and accommodating will go a long way in overall customer satisfaction.

We always use Valet Connections when we travel! It's easy to book. They are always pleasant to work with. Our flight was diverted overnight and we didn't make it back on time to pick up our car. Valet Connections is a great place to park for the solo traveller, no searching the parking deck for your car in the early morning hours alone! Four stars because I have had to wait quite a long time for the shuttle pick up and they are often understaffed so there is always a wait to get your car upon return. Lovely people from the front desk to the shuttle drivers and great prices!

Very dependable. We like it because our car is brought into the garage when we return for us and gets us out of the weather when we load our bags from the shuttle back into our car. Driver was very polite and efficient too. Plus a little less money than at US Park. Pretty much the same distance to the airport as US Park. Plus they offer a loyalty program discount as you accumulate points with them. We will use Valet Connetions from now on.

Location is good, it took us less than 15 minutes to go to the Terminals. Shuttle was there when departing and arriving. And prices are unbeatable. Driver wont say "Hello, thanks for using Valet Connections" but will definitively help you. So yes, this is the place you want to use to park your car on a budget. I’m using the services of Valet Connections since few years and they are my only choice for parking my car when flying out of Detroit. Their very clean shuttles run constantly, so there’s a minimum wait time. And there’s nothing better than returning in the middle of the winter to a clean and warm car. I can even wait in the lobby while my husband loads the luggage in the car.

Good place, I’ve been using them for years. Started out at $6 per day and now they are up to $8. This is understandable due to inflation.
If they could add more vans to their fleet for faster service, this would be great because there were times where I had to rush to my flight due to their limited amount of drivers and vans.

Never before have I parked, got out of my car then waited less than 5 minutes to be then shuttled to the airport....then after a week long vacation picked up from the airport within 5 minutes and driven back to the shuttle Depot. Not only that never before have I got out of the shuttle and they had my keys ready and my car within one second walking distance because they pulled it up while i was being shuttle back from the airport.. In my park experience with their competition- US Park had me walking over a half a mile in a huge parking lot to get my car myself. If you want convenience and nice people , please pick valet connections. The best advice I can provide is make sure you don't delete the text message they send you with the valet number because with that number they not only know where your car is but they know when you call them to get a ride from the airport that they can you get your car for you so it's ready when you get back otherwise there's some confusion with which reservation you are.... there's no reason to keep a receipt on you just don't lose the text message.

Quick and easy, great service.
Bring your car into the building, leave your keys and get a ticket. They valet park your car away. When you get back and get your luggage, you request your car (they send you a text with a link) and it was waiting when the shuttle pulled in.
We didn’t wait long for the shuttle. Maybe 10 minutes on the way there, 5 from the airport.

We have used valet connections twice and both times we were happy. I love not having to remember where I parked my car in a lot. And both times the valet connections shuttle van was waiting for us. It is always a swift and easy process. I would recommend using them. Plus you can’t beat the price!

My car was safe while I was on my trip. They were very efficient getting us safely to the airport. After a 2 hour delay on our return flight, 1 call at 2 am and they came right over to get us. When we got back, my car was inside, and ready for us to jump in, and drive the about 90 minute drive home. I would definitely use this service again!

This is the most cost effective method to park at the airport and have shuttle service. It cost me $38 flat for 3 nights. No fees or gimmicks. Friendly reception staff while drivers were super kind as well (a bit pushy though - aggressively looking for tips) Quick seamless service and experience.

First time customer in August 2023. Wondered what kind of service they offer and how they compare to other parking lots at DTW. Extremely impressed with everything I experienced so far.
Pros:
- Loyalty program offers free parking days and other benefits
- Rates are at least 10% cheaper then the lowest price competitor
- Frequent shuttles and a very organized process dropping off
- Fully automated pick up process, starts with a text message that allows you to notify the driver when you are ready. Driver was waiting for me as I exited the terminal, had my name and car details. Door to door ~15 minutes.
- Car ready for you as you arrive (I suppose that's the valet part of the service).
- Helpful and friendly staff
Cons: (Very liberal use of the term)
- Need to book and pay in advance, at least one day prior
- Need to leave your keys with attendant (might be considered a PRO, as I always have a hard time finding my keys :-)
All-in-all, I am definitely a return customer

This was such a wonderful service! When I arrived to drop off my vehicle, I pulled into the garage so I didn't have to walk through bad weather. There are vending machines in case I needed a snack. The reception area was warm and inviting. I got checked in and waited less than ten minutes for the shuttle bus. The driver loaded and unloaded my luggage for me. He was very kind, he offered small talk on our way to the airport.
When we returned from our trip, we were met with the same kindness. We again waited less than ten minutes to be picked up at the airport, the driver again loaded and unloaded our luggage. My vehicle was parked inside the garage so I didn't have to walk into the dark parking lot.
I am extremely pleased with the customer service! My flight home was canceled, I called Valet Connections to inquire about the fees associated with my delay, they put my mind at ease. Luckily, I was able to make it home via another flight within the timeframe Valet Connections! I will recommend your services to my friends and family.

Valet Connections is our go-to parking when we fly out of DTW. We fly pretty frequently, so have used them a lot. They’re always fantastic! If the shuttles aren’t there already waiting to take you to the airport, they get there really quickly. The drivers are all really friendly as well. We usually only use the self-parking lot, but one time it was filled, even though we had a reservation, so they just had us park in their valet lot that time, and that was great!

This was our second time using valet connections for flights out of Detroit airport. The first time we had to wait a long time (almost an hour) for the shuttle when we returned to Detroit after our trip. We were assured this was unusual, but had no way of knowing since it was our first experience. This trip however, the process was incredibly smooth. It was probably half an hour from when we landed to when we were back in our car and leaving the valet connections garage. We will continue to use this service when we fly out of Detroit.

I have park with this company over 5 years. They appear to get better. I fly out Metro usually 3-6 times per year, warm and cold weather. I love the convenience of the shelter from snow and heat. Never had a problem w/ my car upon return. Shuttle service appears to be improving on wait time. My recent flight, the shuttle arrived when I was calling to be picked up!

I have used Valet Connections for multiple trips and have always been pleased. For this most recent trip, I accidently left my water bottle on the counter. I was on the shuttle to the airport when they radioed to the driver to let him know. The driver of the next shuttle brought it to me at the airport. I was very grateful for them to do that for me. I usually have a great experience, but this time when I arrived back my car was not in the building. I was then told it was parked out front so I headed there only to find it had not been started nor warmed up and was covered with a lot of snow. I then also had to roll my suitcases through slush to get to the car. One of the nice things about this company is the warm car waiting in the building and I think they forgot to go and get my car this time around. I actually had to wait for 2 shuttles so I know time wasn't a factor.

Pretty inexperienced traveler here…but have used Valet Connections twice now. This time we left our vehicle there for a little over a week. I LOVE the pull in a building, give them your keys, and you hop on a bus to get to the airport part! We had a late flight back and they were there to pick us up from the airport in what seemed like less than 10 minutes! Had us checked out in only a few minutes and our vehicle in the building ready to hop in and get back home! Would DEFINITELY use them again!!

I used this business for the 1st time recently and was satisfied with the service. It was recommended to me by a friend. I booked my parking time on their website. Helpful info: When you arrive, 1st drive directly to the rear of the building and drive your vehicle into any open parking spot. Remember your license plate # before walking your luggage into the office behind automatic sliding glass doors. They check you in there and give you a ticket #. Best part is dropping off and picking up your vehicle inside the building. Weather in Michigan is not a factor here! Remember to call them for your return shuttle from the entry gate and have your ticket # ready to tell them. I called them after getting off the plane and I had just carry on luggage. I only waited about 10 minutes for the shuttle van (not a mini bus) at the shuttle area outside. I was not waiting alone at 12:00am. I will use this service next time.

Amazing! I had car trouble which caused me to arrive late for my reservation. The woman who took my call expressed that everything would be fine. I was afraid i had missed my flight and she even called to check on myself and kids to see if we were able to make our trip or if she needed to send someone back to pick us up. The shuttle service was fast both taking us to and picking us up from the airport. All staff were very nice and respectful and cars were ready and waiting as promised. I would def recommended and will be using again in the future.

I have been parking with Valet Connections for a long time! They are always courteous and kind. This last trip there was a large group needing to get to the airport. I did not think there would be room for me - but the drive allowed me to set up front with him so I would not have to wait for another shuttle!
Then on my return trip, my car was still outside, so the shuttle driver brought it in for me so I did not have to go out in the cold! I had an issue with restarting and he was able to help me yet again!
I definitely will continue to park at this wonderful business!

I just love this place! After a frustrating drive of driving myself from Saginaw to Detroit to arrive at Valet Connections, they just take right over. First they get your car parked and then you get registered, the ladies are so nice and helpful. And then I’m off to the airport, being driven in one of their luxurious vehicles, so clean and roomy. The driver was the most professional driver I’ve ever had. He wasn’t right there when I left registration to walk to the waiting vehicle, but when he saw me he smiled and came running over and apologized and I said I wasn’t even there a minute. The driver loaded my luggage, got me comfortably seated and we were off. It felt so good to be driven to the airport. He pulled right up to my departing area and unloaded my luggage and I was off! I would never use anyone else in the future.

1st time and will definitely go again. Drivers were efficient and load/unload your luggage which is very deserving of a tip. The counter person was all alone and quite busy between the phone and the line if customers (she was efficient too but no smiles here).
It would have been very helpful to have more info on their website about the overall process, given a first timer. For example:
1. When you 1st arrive, drive around the back of the building and pull into the garage and park in any spot
2. Unload your luggage and take near the office
3. Go into the office and provide your info & keys
4. Take shuttle to airport
5. Text office after you have picked up your luggage at the airport
6. Go to drop off area at DTW and await shuttle
7. Once picked up, go into the office to get your keys, your vehicle will be in garage in a designated spot.

First time I used this service and I was very impressed. You arrive and park in the parking garage and then they have a shuttle service to your airline. The host was great to deal with. When arriving back to Detroit we called the number for them and they pick you up in the shuttle and you arrive to their location and your vehicle is parked inside and ready for your departure

Great service to and from airport. We have used used valet connections for about 8 years and never had a bad experience. Our shuttle arrives quickly and driver is always friendly. Desk clerks are always friendly. With that in mind, they definitely need updates to building and the driveway in. The water cooler and coffee pot have been out of service for about 5 years. Bathrooms are not the best either. The interior needs a fresh paint and floor coverings.

Although shuttles arrive pretty regularly, arrive at least 30 minutes before you need to be at the airport. We had to wait a bit on our departure day, and our shuttle was completely full. We made it on time but I felt a little anxious. Next time I will allow for extra time so I don't stress. It's about a 10 minute ride to the airport from the parking, so waiting 15 min for a shuttle, which may need to stop at their other location, plus the drive...give yourself time! Upon return, you can request a shuttle from your phone receipt. Ours arrived immediately. I'll use them again.
