Great price but….no shuttle til 5am which isn’t anywhere on the site. Ended up with an Uber and so probably paid just as much as somewhere with a shuttle

I stayed here on Jan. 2, 2024 and on Feb. 29, 2024. The hotel rooms are getting a bit "tired" and dated. Front desk staff were wonderful. On Jan. 2nd, one of the elevators wasn't working - creating long waits to use the elevator. There was a sign on one of the elevator doors indicating that it was being "remodeled". On Feb. 29th, the same sign on the same door is still up (8 weeks later) - This speaks volumes.

Overall a really nice hotel, staff was welcoming and accommodating, the room was nice, bed was comfy, bathroom was very small though (had to jump over toilet to get to shower). We also were in a room right next to the elevator so it made for loud nights and mornings. Other than that we had a nice stay! We would for sure stay again!

I returned to this Hyatt Place recently as part of a corporate relocation to Fort Lauderdale and was pleased to experience again the same warm welcome and friendly service that the hotel provided on my previous stay. I appreciated the sanitizer stations near elevators, CLEAN, large, bedroom with fridge, spacious lobby with seating areas, easy pickup & go breakfast and a small bar area serving drinks and snacks. The parking lot is well lit at night, and I felt safe walking to the nearby supermarket, wine store and restaurants to pick-up food orders. I experienced a really positive and flexible attitude from every member of staff I encountered from Reception to Housekeeping, and especially Management, who went out of their way to help me find a quiet meeting space with better WiFi, and accommodate a last-minute stay extension during the busy Spring Break season.

I learned a long time ago, perception is based off experience. My wife and I originally had reservations at The Drift Hotel, which was absolutely horrible. It was Valentine's Day (night) in Ft. Lauderdale, so apparently everyone takes their special person to hotels. Anyways, We checked in our other hotel, within minutes we left and eventually we ended up here.

The front desk staff were great. I asked to see a room before booking due to my wife's and my last experience and they didn't baulk. The lovely lady went and got a key, we went to the room, and although it's not the most modern room in the world, it worked.

The room is spacious, and the layout is unique, in a good way. When we went to try to sleep at 11pm, the room was quiet!!! And earlier I heard the staff say the hotel was nearly full capacity. The bed isn't the softest, but definitely alright enough to get some sleep. My wife did say to be weary of the pressure in the shower, as she asked me to see if some of her skin was missing, however to me, it was awesome! Hard pressure, made me feel like I was getting a mild back massage.

Overall, to us, I'm appreciative that we found this place on such short notice and would definitely recommend getting a room.

Cheers!

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port. Our visit happened to be during the 1 in 1000 year rainstorm that flooded the city. The responsiveness of the staff was absolutely amazing. The evening of the heavy rain, the minimal front desk staff cheerfully and efficiently served an overwhelming number of guests who were unable to leave the hotel to dine elsewhere. They deftly multi-tasked and each staff member juggled various roles (such as taking food orders and then running back to the kitchen to then prepare that food while answering phones and serving drinks all during happy hour). The staff maintained an upbeat attitude throughout it all. I definitely would recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again. In addition to the amazing staff, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast every morning provided a large array of options.

This was our stopover on the way home from the Keys. It was nice and clean. The rooms are a good size and I appreciate the large sitting area as well. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I like, a little saggy in the middle. I wish the pool was a little nicer place to spend the day, but we just went to the beach instead.

The friendly staff here goes above and beyond! Great location with walkable restaurants and not far from cruise port. Keire at the front desk was so helpful and kind to us. The complimentary breakfast was great! My husband especially appreciated the ladies in the kitchen. We will be back.

Only bad thing would be when we plugged in our cell phone chargers into the wall outlets the plug fell out. This shower had the absolute best water pressure I think that I have ever had lol I mean my skin was definitely exfoliated after a shower here! Nice staff. Clean room. Didnt partake in the breakfast but a lot of other folks did. Comfy beds.

Needed to park my car for the week when I took a flight. They have a park and fly option. The staff in this place is very friendly. Other hotels should send their people there to learn how to treat their guests. The shuttle bus was great, run by a private company. No wait to be taken to the Airport and no wait being picked up. The rooms were large, fresh and clean.

Stayed a second time this year. Rooms were what you'd expect from a Hyatt Place. The bed was pretty softer than the first visit as was the couch. There was a good amount of space in the room and the water was hot and the pressure was very good.

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any place. This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you choose this place you won't be let down.

Staff was suuuuper helpful. We ran low on milk for our 1 year old and the night staff helped out us. The little things count. Also, check in was efficient and flowed pretty good for having a surge of us that got off the shuttle from the airport. Also, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SHUTTLE!!! Reasonable price and you can just bill to the room. Will definitely use this again when sailing next time with royal.

Great location near the cruise port. For a fee you may park your vehicle during your cruise at the hotel. Van transportation to the ships is also available both before and after your cruise. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

We stayed here last week for one night prior to our cruise. LOVED IT. They have a free airport shuttle as well as a cruise shuttle for $9/person. The staff are amazing. There is a nice little bar and also a complimentary breakfast. Kettelie and Ross were so sweet.

We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to the convention center. Jada and Kim were awesome. They made our visit feel like home. Whenever we returned to the hotel from being out all day, greeted us by name.

We only stayed here for 1 night, and we enjoyed our stay. Complimentary breakfast is a plus. Small pool, gym. We really enjoyed our room, spacious. There were a few negatives, they only had 1 elevator in service, which made the wait longer then they should be, and it didn't help that house keeping used the same elevator. The bathroom was another negative. It was so small, that's one thing I look forward to when staying in a hotel, a big bathroom with a huge shower....this bathroom was not that. If you can over look that, your stay here will be just fine. If this review helped, please give me a 👍

Friendly staff! No, Sorry,, Super Friendly staff! Nice breakfast setup very tasty ...clean rooms/halls/ lobby. Lobby bar 🍸 good mixed drinks, BUT the beer selection did not have Any local craft Beers, in the PAST visits, they Had a couple of Local larger Craft Brewerys, instead of a LARGE MACRO corporate brands that I do not care for. We didn't have a rental car this time (which costs $10 bucks to park) so stayed on property, so Enjoyed the small, Delicious food menu. Will Stay Again,, as long as they have a good (competitive) Room Rate. note:Lobby Air freshener was a little strong 🤭(Even while wearing Mask) and different smell than in the past and other Hyattplace's.

We had about 6 hours layover before taking the plane back home. We needed a room for our kids to rest. Hyatt Palace offered us comfort, kindness and even more. We bought dinner at Pollo chicken but we did have plates and cutlery. Graciously, they offered us cutlery from their restaurant. I never met such kindness in any other hotel I went before. Nadia has the best welcoming smile! They even had a nice, warm pool where my boys swam with delight before heading to the airport. The check-in and checkout were so easy. The room was very clean and tidy. The whole place is very relaxing. For sure, I will come back there whenever I will be around in Fort Lauderdale!

This hotel had a clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Everything we needed to be comfortable for a few days. The breakfast area was clean, and had a delicious variety of foods to choose from. The coffee was delicious and the tea choices were perfect for me. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful when needed. Thanks Hyatt Place for meeting our needs.

This a very typical Hyatt Place which works well for our family of five. There were some signs of aging like wallpaper peeling and a lot of door scratches. It did seem quite clean though. My kids enjoyed the clean pool which is nicely furnished with lounge chairs and some shade later in the afternoon. My biggest issue was breakfast was kind of a madhouse. They could barely keep up with keeping the food going and plates clean. Get there early is my advice. They charge $10 a night for parking which I guess is fair but a bit of a surprise. Lots of cruise passengers even though we weren't going on one.

Close to cruiseport. We stayed there 2 nights prior to embarkation on HAL Eurodam and one night after the cruise.

Restaurants nearby - we are at Waxy's, excellent food.

The only things I didn't like about the hotel was that the bathroom was tiny. Barely enough room to close the door before using the toilet. The 2nd elevator was being remodeled and unavailable for the next five months, and the pool was closed from January 1 - 15, 2024. Otherwise, the front desk personnel were fabulous! Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows.

Good pre cruise /post cruise (when that's allowed again) hotel option. Walking distance to shopping center, restaurants, easy access to not airport and cruise port.

Pool is small, no hot tubs, but folks aren't really normally vacationing in this hotel, so not surprising.

COVID breakfast buffet was fine, can't wait to get back to "normal" though.

Rooms REALLY need a drying rope/line in bathroom for swim suites, etc.

Great place to stay, very friendly staff and clean rooms to stay.

I only have one complaint and it is about the pool, the hotel should look into cleaning it a bit more often, floors in it are very dirty and even though water seems clear it looks like it's lacking daily maintenance.

Had a lovely stay and Derrick night manager was great! Lovey friendly staff! Just left today and i left my gold necklace in the room with a gold foot ball helmet charm on the chain room 221. It is very sentimental I got this for my son when he was 11 yrs old

I'm hoping the desk has it cant get through to anyone phone will not ring in. And in room 219 my friend left her I phone charger. 01/07/2021

We had a fantastic stay here while on vacation! The woman who checked us in was a sweetheart!

Our room was a bit older but it was large and very clean! Lots of space for our family of 4.

The parking lot was large and never an issue finding a spot.

The breakfast was good and stocked with a number of good options.

The cookies they sell at the desk are delicious fyi!

I was very pleased to book a room for my mother to stay at this hotel for one night in June 2020. I had to call them a few times before the stay, and the staff were always very kind and very helpful. At the hotel, the staff were also very nice and patient with my mother, who does not speak English. She called me a few times to talk to them over the phone for her. They were always kind and comprehensive. They repeated the same information a few times to make sure we understood. Everybody was wearing face covering, and the room as very clean. The room was very spacious and comfortable. They also had adjusted their breakfast items to reduce contact with COVID19. They have a few options for dinner, which was served as late as 10h30pm. I definitely recommend this hotel.

We had 4 rooms for our cruise and everything was perfect. The staff was nice, pleasant and very helpful. The rooms were like all Hyatt Place's but a bit worn with age. The breakfast was filling and good. We liked they have staplers and tape for luggage tags, if needed at the main doors. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the port is 5 minutes away. Finally, we parked 3 cars here for our 6 night cruise without problems. Would do it again!

I have stayed here before for business and would again for any reason.

This hotel has made it to my top 5. This is in a perfect location with food spots in the surrounding area. They have some of the BEST customer service/Maid service I’ve seen. Everyone is courteous and professional. Even the breakfast staff is nice. The breakfast was good with typical items you would see for a hotel but they do switch it up with a little every morning. The rooms where spacious with comfortable beds. There wasn’t a microwave in the room but you can use the one in the lobby area at you convenience. They have items that you can purchase at the front desk such as drinks/snacks. The pool was nice and clean with no foul smells. In our room we didn’t see and marks on the Fruniture or bed sheets. The maid service is superior. They literally come to your room every day to make sure your good and if you need anything. We are pretty much staying here when we visit Ft. Lauderdale again. Thanks

I come from a family that has ownership in a few Marriott hotels and let me tell you, the location, staff, and overall level of service you will get at this location is fantastic! I stayed at this hotel on accident but what a great accident! I thought I'd booked at a Hyatt House in Dania. I showed up at the Dania location and they told me they were full so I drove a few miles up Federal Hwy to the Hyatt Place Fort Laud. Cruise Port. I am so glad I did! The entire staff were really helpful and smiling every time I needed something or just walked by the front desk. The beds were really nice and you get fresh towels every day from housekeeping as well as cleaning every day you stay. The location is simply amazing and is located to one of my favorite places to eat (I am from Ft. Lauderdale). You owe it to yourself to stay here!

First off, I appreciate this hotel for its flexibility. Our flight was cancelled Christmas day so we couldn't check in. We rented a car and drove 24 hours down to Florida from Chicago, it was brutal. We checked in a day later into this hotel at midnight. So very happy about the front desk manager's understanding. The hotel itself we decent. It wasn't in the newest condition, but wasn't bad. Average condition. The room size was decent with two double beds and a sofa bed. Of course, we always prefer queen beds, but we knew they would be full size. The breakfast was a decent selection in the morning of hot and cold items. No complaints overall. Decent one night stay prior to a cruise, but nothing fancy. The hotel is in a good location for Port Everglades and they have a shuttle to the port you can pay for.

Sebastian loved his hotel! Finding a pet-friendly hotel during the pandemic was a miracle! The place was super clean—all the time. The pool guy was there at least 3x a week at 5 am. The managers were even helping clean the rooms with the staff ensuring everything was sanitized. Cleanliness was a massive effort put forth by the entire team under extenuating pandemic circumstances. (It's s not the Plaza; any concerns were always addressed in a timely fashion.) I would say it's an excellent value for the area. I have paid more at the Hiltons, and this one Hyatt hotel was really on point. The staff worked together as a team. The overall cleanliness, well-maintained and guarded property was a pleasure to stay at. Sebastian and I look forward to being Hyatt brand loyalists!

My husband was here on business and his company booked our accommodations. I have to say after reading some of the reviews I was afraid of what we were getting into but it is not a reflection of the service or hotel AT ALL. The room is dated sure but so spacious, with a couch and desk and very clean. The cleaning staff were always working so hard with smiles, fresh towels and a friendly hello, they certainly deserve a raise for their hard work!! The pool area was great. The location was perfect. We didn't rent a car and walked everywhere. Great restaurants nearby and a Publix. We used the shuttle service and the drivers were all so friendly! Breakfast was late starting a few days but there are staffing shortages everywhere and it is a free breakfast with eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, oatmeal and cereal which was perfect. If we are in the area again we would definitely choose to stay here again. I will say that although there are sometimes two people at the front desk they are busy on their computers so they don't always acknowledge you right away, a look up and "I will be right with you" so they can finish up before helping would show they see me but seriously everything else was perfect.

My wife and I stayed for the tortuga music festival over the weekend and we want to thank you for an absolutely wonderful experience. The one thing that caught my attention was how clean the hotel was and every time I turned around staff was keeping everything neat and tidy. They should all be commended. The breakfast was on time, hot and delicious. We always got a pleasant knock on the door by maid service to see if we needed anything. Awesome stay, thank you!!

This is a Lovely hotel, large rooms, comfortable beds, and pillows...the service people are very helpful and accommodating, from the front desk to the wait staff. If you are not familiar with Fort Lauderdale, it is far from the beaten path, although it is close to both ports, it's hard to find by car. This was a stopover before a cruise, and I'm glad this was where we stopped.

I recently stayed at this hotel for School and business, The entire program at the Hyatt was excellent. I was able to get a shuttle to the hotel from the airport as well as a courtesy shuttle ride to the school I was attending everyday. The morning breakfasts were exceptional not your typical continental breakfast, the food was fresh everyday and hand cooked with care. On the last day of my stay the hotel secured my luggage while I went to class then provided a free shuttle ride to the airport...The staff was friendly and professional loved my stay at this location you will TOO!! Also there were restaurants, Publix's grocery, store, LA Fitness and much more all with in walking distance like out the door and to your right distance.

Stayed here night before our cruise, they have a shuttle you pay $9 per person to take you to the cruise ports. Earliest they leave is 9:45 I believe if you want to be there early. Driver was nice, I believe they also shuttle you back. They also have a shuttle from the airport to the hotel but we did not take the shuttle as it was well past midnight when we got there.

We were supposed to have a double bed but they only had a kingsized room with a pullout couch, we didn’t mind as long as we had a bed to sleep in since it was 2 couples checking in. Bathrooms are big and room was clean. I would stay here again for our next cruise.

I was surprised at the size of the room. A decent amount of square footage for the area. Suite bathrooms are nice, but standard room bathrooms have an awkward layout. Location is ideal for cruises (you can see the ships from the higher floors). You can walk to highly rated restaurants, a nice grocery store (not slummy), and even an Ace Hardware. Staff is nice and helpful. Happy hours are half off most drinks. The laundry is ridiculously small, but if you're in a wheelchair they will do several loads for you for free.

The elevators are a bit sketch.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, even the airport shuttle drivers. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. My room was huge and very comfortable. Its about a 3 minute walk to the shopping center which has restaurants and a grocery store. It was an all around pleasant stay thanks to the great staff they have. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here one night before our cruise! This hotel is about a mile from the cruise port which is convenient. The service was impeccable! Bianca checked us in and took our food orders. She is conscientious about her work, and just had an outstanding personality. Her shift ended as we were finishing dinner so we didn’t get a chance to tell her personally. The restaurant onsite was fresh and tasty. The hotel is a little dated in areas but it s clean and kid friendly. Would recommend.

Very happy with our stay at Hyatt Place.

The shuttle was very convenient from the airport. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The area had many restaurants close by and we did a little shopping. The staff was friendly and while we didn't avail of the complimentary breakfast, it looked good.My husband liked being able to order an Americano and said it was very good.

We will stay here again when we cruise.

Very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Room darkening shades were great help. Even though the hotel was sold out during our stay, it was very quiet. Breakfast was good even during the pandemic. We will definitely stay here again.
