Good service and nice room. The airport shuttle drivers were both very friendly and prompt. The food in the restaurant was good too.
This spacious, clean hotel is located on the Interstate 45 service road. Parking spaces are abundant, but cost $10 per day. Hotel staffing is reduced to one front desk clerk at night. Therefore, the clerk was not able to leave the desk when the ice machine on our floor ran dry. The hotel restaurant (Latitude 29) staff provided mediocre service. One of the supervisors admitted to a 45-minute wait for table service during the lunch hour.
This place is so so so beautiful. And the food is well prepared with lots of friendly faces. It is also very big and clean. I like the experience i had here and you would tooo.
The front desk, breakfast staff and overall staffing was friendly, professional, informed and helpful. The cleaning service was hit or miss in my situation. Booking online was somewhat weird because of third party confusion. For the price I paid it would be nice to have a more affordable breakfast buffet which wasn’t included. The pool is gross and the hot tub was worse. I used the workout room and that was fine. Over-all stay I would recommend everything except the pool and hot tub. You have to possibly request cleaning service if they forget you and ask for extra supplies as they’re not working off a consistent check-list.
Love this place! Very clean and unique. Also staff is very sweet and caring about their clients needs.
Who builds an atrium hotel and puts a standard warehouse roof on it? No microwave in the rooms, breakfast buffet is $20, and the TV has a timer that can't be overridden so it shuts itself off in the middle of programs. In the rooms, there is one barn style door to be used on either the bathroom or on the closet. The shower in the bathroom also has a barn style door that only serves to block off over half of the opening making it hard to enter or exit the shower. The only towel rack is inside the shower. There is a restaurant in the hotel lobby and it's the only convenient food option as there is only one place to eat within walking distance, a Taco Cabana. There aren't even any convenience stores nearby.
The only bright spot are the servers manning the $20 breakfast buffet. Too bad their food buyer doesn't know how to select produce for quality nor know the difference between a breakfast sausage and a summer sausage.
I'm on my 3rd stay at this hotel and it's not changed one bit. I'm here for work and I'm glad I drive down here instead of flying so I can leave as early as possible once business has finished.
Simple hotel service. Friendly faces. We had little AC trouble they got right on it. Easy parking. Easy access to Gulf freeway. Super super close to the NRG stadium. The beds are very comfortable and I am going to buy or steal the pillows because they are amazing!
