I seen a lot of 5 star reviews and considered this homewood suites. I'm not sure where these "5 star" reviewers stayed because it definitely didn't reflect their positive reviews.
This homewood suites is was not well kept. The dishwasher was not installed correctly. Every time you opened it, the entire unit came out. The shower head was broken and was barely hanging on. The a/c filter panel looks like it's never been cleaned . As a diamond memeber, I have stayed with many Hilton locations and this does not hold up to the high standards Hilton is known for.
Minutes from the airport with hourly shuttle. Rooms are good. Staff is nice. Just be aware there is no real breakfast, just a bag with a muffin, a kids fruit cup and 4oz juice box. They charge extra for bottled water.
Very nice hotel the room was well kept. The staff to care of us extremely well. Would recommend this place for anyone who is visiting south Florida. It is also near the airport and has shuttle service to the air and sea ports. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
Very comfortable rooms, our suite was rather large. We enjoyed having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in our suite, in addition to having living space and a nice kitchen. I would gladly stay here again.
Absolutely beautiful and so clean..I would stay there anytime. SHUTTLE to airport every hour and very close!!!
Good value. Breakfast and evening meal cancelled due to coronavirus, so that was a bummer. Easy commute to the airport. Pool was pretty good.

Loved the hotel. Although we arrived really early for our room, it only took a little bit of time for the room to be ready. Great option before cruise or after!
Arrived early after a cruise and staff quickly worked to get us a room, we had a place to put our bags and even allowed us to get our kids changed and use the pool while we waited.
Spacious rooms with good amenities. Excellent breakfast and evening snacks. Friendly staff and outstanding service.
Pretty ok but too much construction affecting entrances each day. No hot tub even though it is shown in pics on website. Breakfast was always cold.
The staff was friendly and the room was clean. They had a typical buffet Homewood breakfast. Convenient location near the airport.
Our first experience with this hotel was much less than impressive. To start with, the shuttle driver was rude. He squeezed so many more people than should have safely fit into the van, they were squatting between the bench seats and the wheel well, and one kid was in a stranger's lap. (Mind you, another shuttle arrived to the hotel less than 10 minutes behind us that was twice the size with 4 total people on it.)When we got to the hotel he literally asked my husband where his tip was. He then said it was all a lie when we and a few older ladies complained to the front desk staff upon checking in. The hotel was very run down. There were body-shaped dents in every piece of furniture. All the towels had stains. There were stains in the bedsheets. The free hot breakfast was slim pickings after the first hour. The staff had to be asked to refill anything that ran out. The AC in the actual units was weak, and we had to keep fans on high constantly and no maintenance staff was even sent when called. The cost was outrageous. I paid more for this hotel stay in January (about $265 I believe) , than I paid for a Friday night stay in an oceanview balcony room in a brand new gorgeous hotel with a roof top pool in downtown Miami. Also of note, we were under the impression that there was a bar area. There was no bar. You could buy single cans of beer in the lobby for about $5.
Almost as soon as we landed I called the hotel for the free shuttle for pick up from the airport. We waited over an hour in the warmth and humidity of Florida with our Michigan clothes on! Others in line with us gave up and called an Uber instead. We got to the hotel and the staff quickly informed us that this hotel was overbooked and we would be accommodated at their sister hotel right next door at the Fairfield Inn. i would have been upset but it was free of charge to us so we said fine. We end up with two rooms instead of one (5 people) so it was a win-win. The next morning we paid the $10 per person for their shuttle to the cruise port. It took about an hour and half to get there. Granted, there was traffic but we were in a bus and had to take some back routes to the ships once in the terminal area. There were people from all different ships with us so we had to make stops at all of them before arriving at ours, it felt like we would never get there. Oh, and we had to stop and pick up peoples luggage that had fallen out onto the street as the storage door on the bus accidentally opened and they fell out. Bottom line, they took care of us as far as the over-booking situation but I would NEVER recommend their shuttle service. EVER!
Manager Greg encouraged feedback. Kitchen staff was warm and hospitable. Housekeeping was very attentive to details. Not sure exactly how I feel about front desk service. Great effort but left some very important details out. Overall nice experience.
Couldn't believe how much the price was. Also tried to get another my room I just checked out of back. Was told that there was no available room. 20 minutes later before 8a.m. Then was asked how much was I able to spend. Like then I can get a room that I requested. Will never stay at this again.
I love staying here! Excellent staff and my favorite in Fort Lauderdale. Very clean and great suites
My husband has been here since 2018 and he works for a company. I barely arrived this year to accompany him. I liked very nice people Mrs. Angela Ramirez and a very nice lady and girl julie But there is a lady that I think is the supervisor or manager her name is Angela she is not so good loses customers very quickly the way How she treats them
I booked a room two months in advance. Despite receiving two confirmations from Hilton, when I arrived the manager said they did not have any rooms. They had overbooked the hotel. I arrived close to midnight and had to run around in the middle of the night trying to find a hotel room. The staff laughed about it and were generally unhelpful. Hilton wants you to join their honors program, but they do not honor your reservation when it comes down to it. I am a silver level honors member, but I won’t be staying at a Hilton property again.
Close to the airport with shuttles to the airport every hour on top of the hour. Great customer service! Two room suites. Close to a big mall with big chain restaurants and steak houses.
A pleasant stay before a cruise. The hotel was clean and well maintained with a friendly staff. The breakfast was typical fare for a Homewood Suites. I definitely would consider it again if cruising from Ft. Lauderdale.
[Will this place remember my smiling face when they told me I could use their bathroom. Such a wonderful little indoor water feature. So clean, so stocked, so full. I can only imagine that a fractured friend had a peaceful night.]
one of the employees (possibly the manager?) kept the pool open for another hour so i could swim! that was very nice of her. the breakfast was also good compared to other hotels.
Clean room updated place nice safe location Alyssa at the cocktail hour does an excellent job asking guest if they have everything. AMAZING job all around nice employees service with a smile the manager has a lot to be proud of. A must stay pick
Clean hotel in a convenient location. They offer airport shuttle service, and are close to plenty of restaurants. Nice large rooms and comfy bed.
I had a quick stay in the area. My suite was spacious and clean. The breakfast (complimentary) was above average for this level of hotel with real eggs. Convenient to the airport and local Latin cafes which I love.
Awesome Experience! Room was nice clean. Price was affordable comfortable bed sleep like a baby after flight. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff helpful.
