The property overall in very good condition for the type of hotel. Clean room, easy check in, free parking. Pool area was very nice & clean. Breakfast service was good. Employees are courteous & professional. Mr.Sam was very helpful & generous. I will certainly be staying here again when I am in the area.
The two, female clerks (I'm hating myself for not remembering their names but I remember their smiles and genuine friendliness)are the sweetest women I've met as a visitor to this establishment, always smiling. They recommended the best southern food places to eat, malls, historic places, all you have to do is ask.😊😊 Kinny, the maintenance worker (I remember his name because I stared at his name tag😆 and the cook, whose name I also forgot too...in all I give everyone a 5-star rating. The ladies who cleaned the rooms were just accommodating , friendly and smiling too. Hearing them say, "If you need anything, please let us know" and they meant it.
Breakfast was delicious: waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausages, eggs, choice of cereals, grits, hard-boiled eggs, toast, bagels, juices, water or infused water, coffee, pastries, butter, creamer. No need to go out to eat when this hotel offers this much food for breakfast!
My husband and I both agreed how much we enjoyed our stay and how accommodating the staff were. We would stay at this location again because of the pleasant experience we had interacting with the staff members. They're wonderful, and because of their genuine smiles and kindness, I left Memphis a firm believer that southern folks and hospitality is real!
Thank you, to everyone, for making our trip to the South "one incredible experience!". 💗💗💗💗
I always try to stay at comfort inns, but this one is changing my mind about them. burn holes in the comforter - old stale coffee in the coffee pot - AC sounded like a 76 Chevy - red stains on the carpet (hopefully not blood) - holes in the couch- staff was excessively rude for no reason except for maybe hating their job. Just an awful stay.
The staff were friendly, the rooms were nice, the food was good. We had a very good stay. The only issue was that the place constantly smelled like marijuana - not exactly their fault, but still it made an impact 😷
I have never written a review, but feel it necessary to do so in this case. We arrived at the hotel and checked in with no problem. Our room appeared nice enough, but the bathroom was not clean at all. The toilet seat and commode still had debris left in it. I'm a bit of a germaphobe so even after their cleaning which still, by the way, wasn't suitable, I had to go get Clorox and cleaners to clean it myself. We didn't have towels either and my phone didn't work in my room, so I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk, which means I had to go through all the prompts to get to someone who then would put me on hold for at least 15 minutes and hang up.... then I start the process over. Finally I had to go down stairs to the front desk and ask for towels....my response.... We don't have any, I don't know what to tell you.
NO TOWELS IN A HOTEL... REALLY. Turns out I was not the only person down there asking about towels. Several people were. The cleaning lady told us she was washing some and would bring some up when they were done. They took all of our names and room numbers....we did not receive towels. After several trips to the front desk we finally got towels, just not enough and no face towels at all.
This was just the first day. The pool didn't work... they claimed waiting on a part to come in that day, that never came in our whole trip. Hot and cold water switched and marked wrong/ hot for cold cold for hot. Phone issues were never resolved. One good thing..... the breakfast was great. Well that's my input, hole it was helpful.
