Nice enough hotel. Food is decent and not too overpriced. Biggest complaint is the internet is incredibly slow. Barely able to load a web page.
Clean comfortable rooms, close to the airport so know you have to listen to jets roaring by. Paid $14 per glass of house Merlot, usually I get a kiss or hug before someone bones me!
Average hotel. Hotel clean & Staff courteous. However the 3 star is based on the pool area. Constant smell of sewage while I was trying to soak up some sunshine. Also majority of the pool area is shaded all day. Pretty bummed about the pool area, BUT if you are just needing somewhere to stay by the airport and not staying for the pool and sunshine, then I would recommend.
Best place for modern newly refurbished large hotel. Dropped off rental car at airport and took the train right to the hotel. Outstanding. Good sports bar, friendly staff. Had a very early flight so hit the train and go right to the concourse.

PROS: The hotel is conveniently located by the airport. There is a nice warm pool we used in February. The restaurant stuff is hospitable and lovely.
CONS: it is a dated hotel. The first room we stayed in faucets would leak. Most importantly, the airport shuttle driver would put his belt around his seat not himself.
This was my 2nd stay, I won't say how bad the first stay was. This time, the room was spotless. I sat in the chair to do some work and fell over backward just missing the corner of the table. No question this chair was broken. The seat was only fastened on 2 of 4 screw points. No screws on the floor, so it has been this way for awhile.
Stayed there for two weeks while in vacation. Nice and clean environment, but cleaning lady never changes our sheets.. instead she just "makes the bed". Our sheets were changed only because we made a request with front desk after 1 week. Otherwise, great place to stay.
The highlight of our stay there was the lovely young man from Kenya who drive the shuttle bus to pick us up and helped us with our bags. He was the first impression of the hotel for us and after a long flight he was a charming person to encounter. The room was clean and nice, but i had to take one star off for the restaurant downstairs. The service was a bit lacking as the food was not prepared how we ordered it (im diabetic and asked for no beans and they forgot to not include them) and the server working there didn't seem very happy to be there. Understandable of course, people make mistakes and have off days. Overall though it was a great stay and i was grateful for the 24/7 gym!
Wonderful Tim and Jennifer at the front desk were so much help. My first time here. The lobby is already beautifully decorated for Christmas.
Very clean and modern. ++
This is a nice place, very clean, with good employee's. It is close to the airport, right next to Phoenix's train system, and in a good area. The only complaint I would offer is that the restaurant food is pricey. It was good (Cobb Salad) but, like most hotels, it was expensive.
This is a classy hotel.
Very nice! Very quiet. Room was nice. Clean with a comfortable bed. Nice tv. Bathroom was a nice size and clean. Very convenient to get to and from the airport. Shuttle was quick picking us up too.
-Easy to find the Hotel
- If you're flying into Phoenix there's an easy way to walk over to the hotel or take a tram
-Close to our conference location
-Very strong A/C
- Moldy bathroom (around the drain, grout & floor corners needed to be sprayed with bleach). I could live with the rest but this is my pet peeve.
- Unscrewed shower head, could see into the hole in a wall.
- Breakfast extra charge (no continental breakfast?)
- No self-parking beyond about 20 spots outside, but complementary Valet parking garage (I don't like to give car keys to random people)
We came to this hotel and initially had a good impression from the lobby, but as soon as we entered our hotel room after a long day of work, we find a mans socks on the floor, the sheets of the beds inside out (and looking like they had not been changed since the last guest), and hair in the bed under the sheets. Upon calling the front desk, they were unapologetic and only offered to switch us to another room after we pressed on. Mind you, there has also been trays of food and wine glasses in the hallway since our arrival this morning and they are still in the way in the hallways. Seems like housekeeping does not do their jobs and the front desk is unapologetic about this.
Can not wait to go back! Great price, room, food. Very close to airport....free shuttle.
Very nice swimming pool..This hotel is in a great location (central) Breakfast staff is charming..lovely buffet
Excellent hotel for the money, great value. Aesthetically very pleasing, up to date furnishings. Restaurant served me a salmon special with risotto and pesto sauce, perfectly prepared. They know how to cook at this place, which is rare for a hotel restaurant. Great place for business travelers, wonderful atmosphere, pleasant and friendly service.
I spent one night because it is close to the airport. Nice comfortable room. Food and beer in the bar was great.
This is a well kept secret unless you're a visitor to Phoenix. Crowne Plaza has an affordable daily breakfast buffet with a huge selection of great food! Their lounge has great food as well with friendly staff. Stop by and check it out the next time you're at Sky Harbor. 🙂🏝✈🛩
Every aspect of my visit to the Crowne Plaza was excellent! Nice room, great lounge and cafe! Front desk staff were very efficient and friendly! Overall an awesome experience! I'll be back...
The restaurant manager was VERY nice and welcoming. I have not had personable service like this before. I definitely will come back to place just to meet up with Sterling Williams again. I appreciate the quick and friendly service.
